The continous improvement of our DesCAD software for design studios takes the next step. We´re proud to anounce that version 6.4 has been officially realeased. Again it brings along new features and improvements.
Our software teams in California and Germany are contineously working on DesCAD and improving our tailor-made designstudio software. The new version holds such helpful features as:
- Full collision check before starting milling program (including angle adapter, y arm, Excalibur)
- New function to edit NC program feedrate during import
- New clay milling option to add offset to geometry for avoiding collision
- New option to create perfectly sharp corners for contour milling
- System checks if trigger probe would hit shaft of reference sphere
Additionally we made the following improvements:
- New filter icon indicates if objects are being filtered
- New option to keep scale ruler in graphic display always visible
- Excalibur warm up remaining time is shown in Excalibur window and in monitoring
- Fully automatic calibration improved – before head rotation the machine moves away from reference tool to avoid crashes
- Visibility of groups in file tree can be switched on and off by mouse click
