The continous improvement of our DesCAD software for design studios makes a big leap forward. We´re proud to anounce that version 7.0 has been officially realeased. It brings along a completely modernized interface, as well as new features and improvements.
The new version contains the following new features:
- New UI looks, icons, and theme colors.
- New feature on flip faces for automatic face orientation.
- New feature to include blank clay for Clay Roughing NC program generation.
- New feature limiting WPC log file and removing old log files automatically.
- New feature to edit and duplicate NC in the show NC widget.
- New warning for homing machine.
- Automatic backup for GlobalSystemSettings.ini.
- Automatic check and prompt for turning on log file logging upon DesCAD start.
- Refresh the connected database automatically after changing the database file.
- Rotating Excalibur automatically create the new position when derived calibration is available.
- Add simple milling, container milling and driling on TreeView context menu.
- Move following error setting to a secured window for technician and remove pops up during milling.
Additionally we made the following improvements:
- Improved implementation of switching coordinate system for easier view.
- Improved Excalibur warm up with separate thread to allow better multitasking.
- Improved Post-Job homing moves to match straight line movement previews.
- Improved collision detection by including a dust protector add-on.
- Improved collision detection during Excalibur2 head rotation.
- Improved collision detection with a complete cutter shape when moving between milling programs.
- Allow toolsetter 4-2-2-2-2 calibration using other probe position other than master.
- Update OpenSSL DLL to newer version.
